Another fabulous day with Chris H involving horses, this time at a racing stable near Cardiff.  Chris has part ownership of a National Hunt race horse stabled at the yard.  After introducing me to Sam, the trainer, I was allowed access to take reference photos for future paintings. What a nice guy and staff - calm all the time and incredibly friendly.  Lots of good material to work with - enjoying close up on the gallops, atmospheric shots of the steaming horses after training and just simply soaking up the experience.  Thanks Chris.

On Saturday I left the group for a prearranged day at the races with Chris H. A glorious day, at a fabulous race course - the sun shone and a brisk breeze certainly blew away the tiredness from the evening celebrations.  A great day collecting reference material and meeting a few people.
